Fish bird writes: nothing wrong with a dual timeline, there are more than one person in life and you can’t write about more than one at a time. Political intrigue… can you get any crazier than the goings on these days? That is a steep hill, good luck to you there! Never a fan of the “reverse timeline”. You know, telling me what happened first and then spending an entire book on how you got there! May as well just read the first chapter. And you can’t get that “wavy look” flashback in a book like you can on the TV. I suppose maybe if you got the pages wet, but probably not the same thing….

Haha - yes! Agree that stories that start with the main event then work backwards to explain what happened, can be frustrating. Good point about dual timelines too - sometimes you need another POV to get the whole picture!
